This week managed to be one that went smoothly and simply for my tribe, because like I guessed we managed to be extremely active and strong in the challenges. Everybody played their part and contributed, and I honestly think we can go the distance as a tribe. We beat them by more than double, and if we stay this active we got this.
However, other developments seem to be more troubling for my future game that may make this fantasy not exactly the most positive thing for my personal game.
The biggest development that I had this week was my relationship with NaOnka developing into a flat out alliance. She asked me if I wanted to work with her, and I'm not stupid so I said yes. But I do legitimately want to work with her in the future, and I think she'll be loyal. But at the same time, she was the weak link in the challenge, so that worries me that she may become a quick target. I thought it would be Amber next, but she seems to have.....sobered up, mysteriously. So I can't seem too connected with her.
However, when we compared notes we found some of the same problems with our tribe. Both of us agree that there is something fishy going on in the tribe, specifically in terms of Ashley/Tom but also extending out to some other people. Those two both seem very distant and unwilling to form any real connection, and while maybe that could be just bad social skills, we both think it's more. So, our little conspiracy theory is that Natalie, Parvati, Tom, Amber, and Ashley may be working together because of the fact they all had reserved spots pre-game and none of them seem too interested in alliances or even gameplay talk at all. If that is true, then me, Nay, David, and Chad might as well already pack our bags. Something's just no right about them, and if this is true then they are really lame.
However, at this point I don't see us losing so hopefully further details illuminate themselves.
