Once the votes are read, the decision is final, and the person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately.

Looks like a Hidden Immunity Idol...
The rules of Survivor state that if an HII is played, any votes for that person will not count and the person with the next highest amount of votes will get their torch snuffed instead.
This is a legit Hidden Immunity Idol, therefore Chad is immune from this vote as well as the next one.
(and that's only because I had to change how this worked - I was originally doing a double-vote mess like in AS but... realized that wasn't what I wanted. Chad would have been immune for two votes there anyway, so this is fair...)
