okay so i tried to add that boat that chad had, and i checkd with Amanda and a rope doesnt count as an item so right now we have the blanket and flag and 3 fires and boat, so thats six. do you guys want to have more? maybe should we put the flag in the boat? i will try to move the rocks around to spell out SOS too i guess unless anybody has better ideas...

I think it looks great right now. So unless by moving the flag onto the boat it becomes one item, I vote that we keep it as is.

Flag and boat are separate items regardless of position. The rope is included with the raft as means of an anchor, so it counts as one.

I was doing some looking online, and if we were to add something like wet wood to our fire it'd create a bilious smoke that'd be darkish grey in color. I mean, the smoke is practical and noticeable *shrugs* I mean right now what we have is good, but it kind of looks more like a camping trip than a distress signal. I don't know if I'll be around today because of work so I just wanted to at least offer up something concrete. Feel free not to use it though Anyway, I did two versions of the picture/idea, just because the smoke I added is so horrendous, I left the image open just to see if anyone else could maybe come up with something better. And even though there are 3 smoke clouds, that shouldn't really count as items, since it's just a natural reaction of putting wood and fire together??? Anyway, sorry it's so shitty, but I felt like I needed to contribute.

I really like Ashley's smoke idea. I'm not sure that anything I create will be better, but I'll give it a try in a bit. I have some errands to run now.

so if we're doing all that stuff on the beach i think that'll get most of the attention, so i dunno if we really need the raft that much since its not doing much to catch attention and its just there, so maybe we could get rid of it or put the blanket on the raft? (and maybe we can pretend we got an orange or red blanket instead since that would stand out in the ocean more than blue?)
just to maximize the like impact the items we're using have since how many we use matters so much?

Yeah Amber, the blue raft on the ocean isn't doing too much to draw attention. So maybe we could move it onto the beach more. I also like the SOS Parvati created with the rocks.
