Myself and DDanielle will start. If Erik is around, he can do it... but if not, we'll need to finish this up.
10 points each Smart - Are you effectively using your resources, or are you wasting time using things that would not work? Original - Are you trying to do something different, or are you only using fire? Noticeable - A good SOS signal can be seen. Would your SOS be seen if a boat or helicopter happened to pass by? Effort - Did your submission take time, or does it look like it took five minutes? Teamwork - Did one person do everything, or did at least six people contribute an idea or actual work?
Your score will be as follows: First judge's score + Second judge's score + Third judge's score - (number of items used x2)
ITEMS: Babs Chu - 7 Gnas Ri - 12

BABS CHU
Smart - Are you effectively using your resources, or are you wasting time using things that would not work?
The wet log thing is genius. It definitely is a good use of resources. Fire is used effectively. The blanket and raft, however, seem to serve little to no purpose whatsoever. Couldn't you at least light the raft on fire or something? 8/10
Original - Are you trying to do something different, or are you only using fire?
The wet log again works, since I haven't seen that done before. That aside, the other things are pretty basic. 8/10
Noticeable - A good SOS signal can be seen. Would your SOS be seen if a boat or helicopter happened to pass by?
I'd sure as heck see the smoke and the fire and, since the gray smoke is unnatural, I'd go check it out. The blanket and raft are again useless. 9/10
Effort - Did your submission take time, or does it look like it took five minutes?
They seemed to put a good faith effort in. 9/10
Teamwork - Did one person do everything, or did at least six people contribute an idea or actual work?
Contributors: Parvati, Amber, Ashley, Chad. Natalie and Aaron did nothing noteworthy to contribute. Tom did the "Good job" post. David didn't post at all. 4 people contributed and Natalie at least posted a prompt, so... 7/10
8 + 8 + 9 + 9 + 7 = 41/50
GNAS RI
Smart - Are you effectively using your resources, or are you wasting time using things that would not work?
The fire to create the "SOS" shapes works. I don't care what language you speak, if you see a fire in a pattern like that, it's unnatural and definitely worth checking out. They used fire effectively, but the flag seems to serve no purpose. 8/10
Original - Are you trying to do something different, or are you only using fire?
I don't really see anything new here. "SOS" in fire is something done pretty often, but they at least varied it up. 7/10
Noticeable - A good SOS signal can be seen. Would your SOS be seen if a boat or helicopter happened to pass by?
Yes. With the fire and people waving their arms... pretty easy to see. 9/10
Effort - Did your submission take time, or does it look like it took five minutes?
The crop jobs on the tribemates look pretty poor. Burton at least showed a good deal of effort, however, in getting things to look at least acceptable. 8/10
Teamwork - Did one person do everything, or did at least six people contribute an idea or actual work?
Contributors: Burton, Dolly, Julie, Misty, Barbie, Chase. That's six. Kelly didn't do much aside from make the topic, and Adam just posted once saying he couldn't do anything and liked an idea. Still, it's 10/10.
8 + 7 + 9 + 8 + 10 = 42/50
Very close. Ashley adding that wet log was crucial.

Babs Chu: Smart- 6 There is still a LOT of empty space. Original- 5 Fire. Raft. Not very new... Noticeable- 6 Not. At. All. Honestly I didn't realize it until I saw someone comment about the rocks. he smoke would help. Effort- 4 Their actual flag wasn't even there. Fire is lame. Fail of epic proporions. Teamwork- 8 Some did more work than otheres. Final Score: 29
Gnas Ri: Smart- 5 Used the heads to cover up like 1/4 of the space. They could have done a lot more. Original- 6 I liked the flag but the heads aren't too original and I've seen that fire before somewhere, either in this series or remade. Noticeable- 8 I can see this 300x better than Babs Chu. Effort- 7 What was done looks great, but it looks rushed because there is so little. Teamwork- 9 Everyone pitched ideas, some more than others. Final Score: 35

Erik, each of yours is off by one from your values... no offense.
BABS CHU: 39 + 41 + 29 = 109 - 7x2 = 95 GNAS RI: 43 + 42 + 35 = 120 - 12x2 = 96
...holy shit, this is REALLY close.

My bad, I wrote it all down first and then posted it. I must have changed them when I typed them. All fixed!
