I literally, am enthralled with the developments of this game.
Moving from my old people, to the girls on the other side was a huge step, and I definitely wasn't positive if it would prove worth it. What I did know is at 10, I was facing a tie if I decided to stick to my people, and I even know anyway Andrea wanted to flip, so I pretty much knew I should. But it was my best move likely, anyway.
Down to 8, things got really messy, because Julie won immunity and gave it to Misty, and I was the next person on Toms boot list. The golden part that Natalie was able to confirm however was that Tom wasn't using a power to ensure my dismissal. The non-golden thing is ANDREA AND NATALIE WERE SELF VOTING. Honestly, I was really disappointed with them. They left Ashley, and especially me out to dry because they couldn't find motivation to do, literally, one of the most simplistic challenges this game has seen.
Again, I came very close to winning, but came up short, and I knew I would look a bit like a threat from it, again. Chad was voting me with Tom, solid, and because Ashley knew Misty and Parvati were both not enthralled about me, I knew it would not be most effective for I to approach either of them. Instead, Parvati was convinced by the girls that Tom should go just for this round, and following that, I would go.
Misty on the other hand for whatever reason toppled like a domino to keeping Tom, and acted like she was supportive of me. I believe her intentions were to make me think for the time being she is with me, and make the other girls feel she is willing to do what they want. She also probably knew that despite rightfully disliking my actions in this game, and also likely wanted to commit revenge, if there was a chance to get out one of THEIR people, and hope to survive me later on, it was simply worth it.
Moving forward, Andrea and Natalie....they need to wake the hell up. We are at the final 8 of a game, and I don't care if you have a life. If your life is that contentious you wouldn't have the time to play in these games, or come on to say that your life is too much to play a 24 hour question game. It obviously isn't. So, those girls need to shape up.
Ashley on the other hand, I owe her so much. She truly stood up for me, and she truly came out of the shadow as in my eyes below Natalie and Andrea, and let me see that perhaps it is her that is most dependable, and who will deserve at some point my full appreciation. Sometimes you get help from a source you see coming the least, and I honestly was never considering it being Ashley out of the three girls I've been working with to really come through for me in a clinch, and there she was.
